May 02nd 2009 - Susan & Mick - Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley

Again, a rainy week ended resulting in a gloriously sunny day for Susan and Mick's wedding day!

Both Susan and Mick 'prewarned' me at the initial consultation stages of the booking that their wedding was going to have quite a few children in attendance... 30 to be precise! I had no problems with this and took the work on with no hesitation!

Both Susan and Mick had done all they could to ensure the children were well entertained starting with a balloon release at the church, and a clown at the reception to entertain the kids for hours! Hats off to Peanut the Clown as he did a great job of keeping the kids entertained with face painting, bubble blowing, balloon modeling, circus tricks and alsorts of other fun and games.

Both bride and groom had set me a challenge before the day... not too many formal shots, just plenty of candid moments of all their friends and family having a great deal of fun... this is the way I generally work at a wedding anyway, so I was more than happy to take the challenge on! I just hope the photos are a great reflection of the fun had on the day!
