February 12th 2011 - Siobhan & Ian - King's Croft Hotel, Pontefract

Siobhan and Ian did a magnificent job of arranging their entire wedding with the added stresses ofplenty of country skipping in between the preperations. Not because they were jet-setting off to beautiful holiday destinations... both Siobhan and Ian are helicopter technicians for the British Army and have been posted in Afganistan running up to the wedding day. Hats off to them, I certainly couldn't do it.

I met with Siobhan and her parents at their home in Normanton before heading off to St Joseph's Church in Castleford.

Siobhan's parents house was lovely with lots of room to photograph bride, 4 bridesmaids, flower girl, parents, brother... the lot!

Once we got to the church, Ian was suited in his 'Number Ones', looking very smart indeed. Siobhan arrived on time for the 1pm ceremony and the ceremony was conducted beautifully.

A short ride from Castleford through to the King's Croft Hotel in Pontefract then all group shots were dealt with as quickly as I usually do them, leaving more time for mingling and shots of the Bride and Groom.

An awesome sunset behind the helipad at King's Croft was an ideal backdrop for the shots you see nearing the end of the slideshow.

An awesome day with plenty of great people and great laughs!

Congratulations Siobhan and Ian!
