Rachel & Adam. The Red Lion Hotel, Burnsall Nr Skipton.

Well, what a day! The type of day to test your abilities as a photographer!!

Rachel and Adam decided to marry in the quaint little village of Burnsall near Skipton. A beautiful little venue with a river running right by the side of the Hotel where they tied the knot.

Unfortunately, the rain decided to hit the village pretty hard today, meaning that group shots of more than 15 people were ... how can I say it... a challenge!!

All I can say is thank you sooo sooo much to all the friends and family of Rachel and Adam, who willingly ventured outside to an undercover canopy to have the large group shot taken!

Fitting 96 people under a small outdoor shelter was a challenge in itself, not to mention having to ship them across 20 foot of open weather using 5 umbrellas to get them there!!

Straight after the group shots had been done, typically, the skies cleared for 30 minutes, which was just enough time to take the bride and groom outside to do some photos on the bridge and down by the river.

A full day's attendance as usual meant that I could be there for the evening guests arrival and to take some photos of them too! (another organisational extravaganza!!)
