June 16th 2011 - Philippa & Joe - Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel, Thorpe Audlin, Pontefract

My first wedding since returning from a 2 week sun kissed holiday in Cala D'or, Mallorca! In fact I returned yesterday so it's a good job the flights were on time! No, seriously, we had a contingency should the worst happen, but thankfully we needn't have to rely on that!

Philippa's family are all farmers so I met Philippa, her parents and brother at her Parent's beautiful farmhouse.

With room aplenty, with lots of nice big open spaces and lots of natural light with very little clutter, photography was made very easy!

Philippa opted for a traditional horse and carriage to take her and her father to church in Ackworth.

Following the ceremony, it was on to Rogerthorpe Manor where we had freedom to use the entire grounds all day what with it being a Thursday and only one wedding on that day.

Lovely people, lovely day! Lovely in general!
