Marlize & Iain. St Felix's Church, Felixkirk through to Thirlby Village Green, Thirlby Nr Thirsk.
Wow! Yet another amazing day in terms of weather and the wedding itself!
With Marlize being from South Africa and Iain from Scotland, guests had truly come from far and wide, and my did they know how to have a good time!!
Firstly I met Marlize, her parents, bridesmaids and bridesmaids partners at her Mum's house in the quaint little village of Thirlby. The day was glorious, and boy am I thankful for that today as the reception was being held in a large Marquee on the local Village green!
After they were married, Marlize and Iain made their way to the marquee, stopping en route with me to take some photos.
We got to the marquee and got the formal photographs out of the way, then had some fun with the photos, thanks to everyone for being such great sports! I think the results are well worth it!
The evening's entertainment was brought to the guests by an absolutely amazing (and that's praise indeed coming from an accomplished musician such as myself! ;^) band called Skerryvore from Glasgow... I highly recommend taking a listen to their music at their website, www.skerryvore.com.
The guests danced the night away to the traditional scottish Ceilidh music, rocked up with bass, drums and guitar. The lads were packing up and travelling all the way back to Glasgow that night... safe journey home chaps.
Congrats you guys!
