July 18th 2009 - Katy & Craig - Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel, Thorpe Audlin, Pontefract

Yes, that's 2 weddings at the same venue in a row for the second time in succession! Freaky huh?! This always adds pressure to the photographer to ensure the photographs are as different as possible. It may sound like a difficult task, however it's the people you photograph which makes the day unique, and therefore, the photographs for me.

Katy and Craig are high school sweethearts and tied the knot on the 18th of July 2009. It was really obvious that both Katy and Craig were head over heels in love and I personally feel that the photos show that beautifully. On such an emotional day, it was touch and go whether either of them would shed a tear... unfortunately, Katy really 'went for it' when I surprised them with a slideshow of a selection of their photographs from the day at the evening reception!

I have to assume the floods of tears were tears of joy Katy!?

Congratulations both of you... not only on your marriage, but for achieving my award for 'earliest ceremony time EVER!' ;)
