May 13th 2011 - Joanne & David - The Bridge Inn, Wetherby
As usual, weather was the first thing on my mind the when I woke up on Joanne and David's wedding day! Moreso than usualy what with Joanne and David opting for a 5pm ceremony!! 5pm is the latest ceremony I have had to shoot at in the 8 years of me being a wedding photographer so I do have to admit, I was worried about getting time to shoot all the photos I'd usually take at a 10 hour wedding within such a small time span, but most importantly, without making the bride and groom feel like the photography dominated their day.
Sure enough, true to form, the rain began the second I pulled into the carpark at the Bridge!
Joanne and her bridesmaid got ready at the Bridge, along with David in a room down the corridor!
Joanne and David's little lad looked extremely dapper in his suit and behaved well all day!
As soon as I needed everyone outfoors for the group shots, the rain stopped! Brilliant! It was thanks to my quick thinking to take the brolly with us for the shots of the Bride and Groom which ensured Joanne and David didn't get drenched!! The heavens opened again once we were far enough away from any indoor shelter!
Thankfully both Joanne and David were great sports and definitely didn't let the rain spoil their day!
All in all quite an intense day interms of photography, but some great shots taken of yet more great people!
Thanks for booking with me guys, and congratulations!!
