July 23rd 2011 - Jessica & Scott - Cedar Court Hotel, Wakefield

Jessica and Scott chose for their wedding to be entirely self contained at Cedar Court Hotel, meaning once I arrived at the venue, no other travelling (apart from the return journey home!) was needed. This is always helpful as it allows more time, not neccessarily for photography, but for the day to run smoothly at a steady pace.

Jessica and Scott both got ready at the Hotel (seperately of course!), Jess with her bridesmaids, and Scott with his best man and ushers which allowed me to be visiting both the boys and the girls to get prep shots done!

Following the ceremony, some quick formal photos were dealt with in the usual fashion; quickly, but professionally (Of course!) and then on to the photos of the bride and groom, and what a great looking couple they were too, just falling into the poses with very little interaction needed to 'fine tune' the 'look'!

A joy to work with. Amazing people.

To top it all off on the happiest day of his life, Scott had a visit from Leeds United's manager, Simon Grayson, who willingly allowed us to take some photos, what with Scott being a keen LUFC supporter! The only issue was ensuring his smile wasn't bigger stood next to Simon Grayson in comparison to his new stunning wife!! ;)

The fun went on into the night and some lovely first dance shots were taken!

Congratulations guys and it was also great to see Tara and Thomas who put my name forward for the work in the first place! Tara and Tom are previous wedding clients of mine, who now have a beautiful little girl (the one holding the wedding card in the photos!)
